Top Secret is a GVH Exclusive variety!  We’ve been working on this lady for over 5 years and she’s ready for her close-up.  She’s bred from…none of your business.  We’ve decided against the patent route and went with the trade secret path so sorry…loose lips sink ships.
But we will tell you that Top Secret is a cross between sweet lemonade, seductive floral perfume, and just a hint of earl gray spice.
Bittering Skill Level:  High
Aroma Skill Level: Low

Top Secret is a modest alpha hop more reminiscent of noble types.  Her moderate humulene content provides a gentle hop base with just a pinch of astringency as from a quality black tea.

Top Secret presents a provocative mix of sweet lemon, heavy floral perfume and a dash of intriguing earthy spice.  Think of sipping lemonade while walking down a musky forest path covered in wildflowers.

Hot Side Aroma Profile

Top Secret can handle a good boil and still offer a pleasant hop base.  Humulene and caryophyllene transform in boil to provide the typical herbal hoppiness with a smidgen of earl gray tea.  Later and later additions will provide more of the lemon and floral attributes.
